ANCIENT GREECE - GREEK Macedonia (kingdom of), Alexander III the Great (336-323 BC). Tetradrachm in the name of Alexander III ND (323-320 BC), Amphipolis. Av. Head on right of Heracles with the remains of the Nemean lion. Rv. AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡ-Υ - ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ. Zeus aetophorus seated left on throne and holding sceptre in left hand and eagle in right; left (different). Price 113 ; Silver - 17,16 g - 24 mm - 6 h NGC Ch AU 5/5 2/5 (8237653-013). With a Macedonian helmet as different. Minor corrosion craters. High relief strike with a light grey patina with golden highlights. Superb to Fleur de coin.
