ANCIENT GREECE - GREEK Peonia (kingdom of), Patraos (335-315 BC). Tetradrachm ND, Damastion. Av. Apollo's laurelled head right. Rv. Π-OA-[P]-ΤΑY. Knight charging right, piercing a fallen enemy on the left who is trying to defend himself. SNG ANS 1040 - Paeonia hoard 490-497 - HGC 3.1, 148 v. ; Silver - 12,6 g - 24 mm - 12 h NGC Ch XF 5/5 4/5 (8583610-007). With Π-OA-P-ΤΑY on reverse, known from specimens in the Treasury of Peonia. Good centring on the right and reverse. Slight cleaning to the right with patina in formation. Almost Superb.
