Quadriga galloping left, about to turn left, led by charioteer holding reins; above, Nike flying right, crowning him. In exergue, ear of wheat.
Rv. ΣΥΡΑΚΟΣΙΩΝ. Head of Arethusa (Kore-Persephone) on the left, with earrings and pearl necklace, the hair held in an ampyx decorated with stars. Around her are four dolphins, one of which seems to be emerging from the bust.

Slight wear on the high reliefs with minimal handling marks in the fields. An old patina with bluish highlights is present. Very fine style with the chariot in a dynamic perspective to the left and a magnificent portrait of Arethusa, these corners, although unsigned, are attributed to Parma[nides]. TTB to Superb.
