Rv. ΣVR-ΑΚ-ΟΣΙ-OΝ. Head of Arethusa right, her hair held by a taenia, wearing a pearl necklace, surrounded by four dolphins.

With flan casting burr. Striking fault on reverse which has created an outgrowth of metal (from weak strike to opposite right). Clear and detailed depictions of Arethusa and the charioteer with the trimmed beard. Grey patina with golden highlights. A superb piece.
