Fine scratches on the cheek. Regular and light wear on the high relief. The blank is slightly oblong, with a slightly off-centre strike. Iridescent patina. Almost Superb.
Queen Philistis is known from her coins and from an inscription in the theatre of Syracuse where she appears next to Queen Nereis, wife of Gelon, the son of Hieron II.
