GREEK BLACK-GLAZED GUTTUS WITH GORGONEION Ca. 400 BC. A black-glazed guttus with a protruding spout and a single vertical handle. The slightly domed top is moulded with the face of a Gorgoneion set within a recessed circular medallion. The shoulder is encircled by a band of short vertical ribs, continuing around the body.
