GREEK BLACK-GLAZED KYLIX WITH PALMETTE Ca. 400 - 300 BC. A black-glazed kylix with a wide, shallow bowl set on a low foot and two opposing looped handles curving outward. The glossy black surface covers both the interior and exterior, interrupted only by a reserved tondo at the centre, which encloses a painted palmette with radiating fronds framed by two concentric bands.
