GREEK BRONZE DOG FIGURINE. Ca. 800 BC. A cast bronze figurine of a dog standing with the forelegs advanced and the hind legs braced apart. The elongated neck supports a wedge-shaped head with small, pointed ears; the tail is raised and curved over the back. For similar see: M.
