GREEK BRONZE GREAVES.
Ca. 550 - 500 BC. A pair of matching bronze greaves. Each features simple decorations, including vertical lines and spirals defining the calf muscles, along with multiple pierced holes around the edges for securing leather straps. A beautiful green patina envelopes these iconic objects.
