GREEK BRONZE SITULA WITH ACANTHUS HANDLE ATTACHMENTS. Ca. 400 - 300 BC. A bronze situla of tapering cylindrical form, resting on a low ring foot. The neck is encircled by two narrow horizontal grooves beneath the plain, thickened rim. Two arched handles are fastened through double perforated loops, each integrated into an acanthus-shaped terminal rising from the rim.
