GREEK BRONZE STATUETTE OF A PRIEST Ca. 500 - 300 BC.
A solid-cast bronze figure of a priest standing with both hands held before the chest. The figure wears a short belted tunic and a conical headdress with incised vertical ridges. The facial features are rendered with a pronounced brow, straight nose, and full beard extending to the chest. The legs are set close together and terminate in a tapering base.
