GREEK CORE-FORMED GLASS ALABASTRON.
Ca. 600 - 400 BC.
A core-formed glass alabastron with an elongated cylindrical body tapering slightly towards the opening. The surface is decorated with zigzag trails in alternating yellow, blue, and dark tones covering most of the body, transitioning into horizontal lines at the level of the neck. A broad, flat rim with rounded edge extends outward from the neck, and two small applied handles curve from the shoulder to the upper body. Mounted on a custom-made display stand.
