GREEK LIFE-SIZE TERRACOTTA HEAD OF NOBLEWOMAN Ca. 350 - 300 BC. A life-size terracotta head of a noblewoman with an elongated neck. The face is modelled with smooth planes and subtle contours, with large almond-shaped eyes beneath arched brows, a long, straight nose, and a small, narrow mouth. Her hair is arranged in thick, undulating strands drawn back over her ears. Around the neck are two strands, one composed of rounded beads, the other a torque decorated with parallel lines.
