GREEK MARBLE STELE WITH HORSEMAN
Ca. 400 - 300 BC.
A marble stele carved in low relief with a scene of a Thracian horseman advancing right, his right hand raised as if holding a spear. The horse is shown in profile with an arched neck and bent legs, suggesting motion. The composition is framed within a raised border.
