GREEK PERIOD ALABASTER PYXIS
Ca. 600 - 300 BC.
A circular pyxis carved from alabaster with a flat base and a vertical wall rising to a pronounced rim. The interior is divided into three lobed compartments. Small circular perforations pierce the wall just below the rim.
