GREEK PERIOD BRONZE SWORD WITH STONE POMMEL. Ca. 1200 - 900 BC. A bronze sword with a long, triangular blade and a shallow medial ridge running to an acute point. A narrow rectangular grip extends behind, incised with a chevron band, and terminates in a thick D-shaped stone pommel. For similar see: R. Matthews, H. F.
