Large narrow-necked vase with splendid wind decoration by Emile Gallé On a stepped, oval stand, a strongly bulbous body pressed into an oval, swinging into a long narrow neck, slightly widened mouth. Cased glass, milky light turquoise green, colourless and violet, optically blown. Rich, all-round decoration of blossom tendrils of the Ipomea, etched, parts of the wall reworked with a grinding wheel, fire-polished. Japonising sign "Gallé". H. 38.7 cm.
