Large Art Nouveau vase by Fritz Heckert Pressed, strongly bulbous body, the almost horizontal shoulder dented in three places and the short, retracted neck with a three-pass flared mouth. Cased glass, colourless, the top layer with red and pinkish-pink enamels and irregularly spun concentric silver-yellow threads. Reduced and iridescent. Designed by Otto Thamm 1900/01. Modern, cylindrical acrylic glass insert. H. 20 cm; D. approx. 39 cm.
