Large, colourful flower arrangements on both sides of the wall in so-called "FF bouquet painting" after copperplate engravings without shadows. Flying insects and butterflies. Painted in the style of the Meissen woodcut flowers of the 18th century, the vase illustrates the modern, so-called "FF flower painting", which favours the lush bouquet form without shading in comparison to the woodcut flowers, which are often painted individually and thus refer to their botanical origin.
