Large Meissen magnificent pendulum with Watteau decoration. with rectangular base on heavily scrolled volute feet. Baluster-shaped curved clock body with a lattice-like open-worked dome, the interfaces with applied small forget-me-not blossoms. Topped with a sculptural vase with a bouquet of flowers. A figure of Flora seated on the shoulder with a palm branch and cupids playing. Surrounded by rocaille decoration in relief with sculpturally applied, elongated leaf tendrils with large, various flowers. Framed cotton wool scenes in gold-contoured reserves on the front. The narrow sides and base with scattered flower arrangements. Polychrome painting with rich gold decoration. Designed by J. J. Kaendler. Round movement case, glazed, white enamelled dial with black Roman numerals. Hour strike on bell. Minimal rest.; crossed swords mark. H. 71 cm.
