Large decorative lidded vase with Indian floral decoration Ovoid body with rounded shoulder and offset, short neck on a flared round foot. Domed, overhanging lid with gold-ornamented cone finial. Colourful Indian decoration on the wall consisting of large, branching peony and chrysanthemum bushes rising from behind a rock, surrounded by butterflies. Corresponding decoration with flowering branches on the lid. Fine, polychrome painting in iron red, purple, sea and moss green, blue, brown with yellow and black. Rich gold decoration. Centreboard mark. H. 50 cm. A large lidded porcelain vase finely painted with "Indian flower" decor. Crossed swords mark. Meissen. Late 20th century.
