Large lidded goblet with 15 Brandenburg-Prussian coins. Silver, finely marbled. Round, ascending stand surrounded by subtle boss decoration, merging into a slender shaft and conical, high bowl. Semicircular domed lid with a wide, flared, smooth rim. Lid, shaft and bowl divided by vertical ridges and ribs. Seven delicate, flared mounts with inset 1/24 thalers, 1755 to 1764, below the bowl as an extension of the ribs. The lid correspondingly crowned by a large Schmeck with five flared, leaf-shaped scrolled and open-worked mounts with five 1/48 thalers, 1761-1777. Above it a large "Friedericus Borussorum Rex" thaler with profile of Frederick II of Prussia, 1777, framed by three 3-gute pfennigs, 1761 and 1777. 800 mark. Weight approx. 1280 g. H. 49.5 cm.
