Large historicism ostrich egg goblet with silver mount. Profiled, domed round base merging into a short baluster shaft. Above a cupola consisting of an ostrich egg held by vertical, leaf-shaped serrated and hinged decorative bands. Slightly indented shoulder, merging into a wide, correspondingly serrated mount on the lower rim ending in a high rim. The domed lid crowned by a fully sculpted depiction of Judith with a raised sabre and holding the head of Holofernes in her hands. Lid and stand decorated with volutes and shellwork.
