Large, splendid Historicism lidded goblet in silver, gilt. Multi-profiled, domed round stand surrounded by six-fold boss decoration, merging into a tall, vase-shaped baluster shaft, set with sculpted clasps and acanthus leaves. A gadrooned nodus at the base decorated with mascarons and putti. Conical, heavily domed bowl with a wide, smooth rim. Plug-in lid with corresponding boss decoration and ball pommel over stylised acanthus leaves with rolled silver threads. Flared, pinched rim. Dome rim surrounded by calyx and scrollwork decoration between angel heads. Gilt interior. Marked 13 lot, pseudo marks. Weight approx. 1180 g. H. 52 cm.
