Mehrfach eingezogener Rundfuß mit bauchig erhöhter Mitte, darauf Schaft in Form einer Vase mit drei kleinen, maskaronverzierten Spangen. Die hohe Kuppa mittig zylindrisch geschnürt. Auf dem gebauchten unteren und oberen Bereich reliefierte Ornamentbänder mit Beschlagwerkfeldern, darin im Wechsel Cherubköpfe bzw. Schalen mit Früchten und Blumen. Die geschnürte Mitte passend dekoriert hier aber umlaufend Fruchgebinde. Flach gewölbter Stülpdeckel mit breitem Rand und entsprechendem Dekor. Große Figur eines Schildhalters im Harnisch als Bekrönung auf der sockelförmigen Mitte. Ca. 594g. Höhe 38cm. Repeatedly receeding circular foot with bulbous raised centre, thereon a shaft in the shape of a vase with three small applied scroll motifs decorated with mascarons. The high cuppa cylindrically waisted in the middle. On the bulbous upper and lower parts ornamental bands with strapwork panels, in them alternating cherub heads and bowls of fruit and flowers. The waisted middle is matchingly decorated all round with an arrangement of fruit. Flat-domed slip lid with a broad rim and matching décor. Large figure of a supporter in armour as finial on the base-shaped centre. Ca. 594g. Height 38cm. Marked thrice: assayer's mark Emden with C for 1603 (Scheffler, Lower Saxony no.592), maker's mark Juryen van Ham (master 1597-1616, ibid. no.599). Condition A/B.
