GROUP OF GNATHIAN SKYPHOI. Ca. 350 - 300 BC. A group of three skyphoi, each with a deep body tapering towards a small, disc-shaped foot. The rims are broad, with two opposing horizontal handles extending outward. The surfaces are covered in a black glaze, with decorative elements applied in added white, yellow, and red pigments. The first skyphos on the left features horizontal bands and rows of small dots encircling the upper body. The second and third skyphoi display stylised vine tendrils in the midsection, with dotted bands and linear patterns above, while an ovolo pattern runs along the rim.
