A marble and hardstone veneered gueridon with a round top decorated in intarsia with polychrome friezes of birds branching out in reserves, palmettes and a central medallion depicting shepherds and ibexes in a rocky landscape. It stands on a tripod walnut base with swan and lion paw protuberances. Inscribed "F. M Pérès à Bagnères" on the top. Pyrenean work from the 19th century. Height 73 cm. Diam. 106 cm. Significant damage and restoration to the marble top.
