Eliseus. Ca. 1760/70 (?). Polychromy, resp. silver coloured, colouring re-done several times and partially lost. Supplementation of the right hand as well as the finger and thumb of the left hand. Lime wood.

This sculpture was created in 1760/70, along with a bust of the Prohet Elija which is currently in the Bavarian National Museum, for the interior of a carmelite church in Munich. It was considered missing for a long time and could be shown publicly for the first time in 1988 in the context of an exhibition in Karlsruhe.
