Gustave KELLER (1881–1922) A richly carved wooden elephant, with a removable back designed to accommodate a bidet. Triangular silver plate (Minerva hallmark) on the inside inscribed ‘G. Keller, design registered on 17-06-86, no. 2, 22873’ H: 43 – W: 73 – D: 27 cm. Some minor signs of wear; the tusks are missing. A similar model was sold at Sotheby’s, London, on 21 September 2021, lot 26.
