The clown is leaning on his ladder and stands vertically on one hand with his head down. Beautiful movements in perfect working order for a duration of one and a half minutes. Throughout the exercise, he swings his ladder to maintain his balance. Listed in the Maison Vichy catalogue under no. 585: "Équilibriste n° 1 - H. 105 cm - Musique à deux airs". Details of movements: He salutes the audience twice at the beginning of his exercise, stands up in two steps, drops his right hand three times while saluting the audience.
