French-style suit, Empire period, high-collared suit and vest in chocolate wool drape embroidered with polychrome silk in shaded past tones and knot stitch, mainly with bouquets and sprays of flowers, feathers and foliage; the edges highlighted with a scalloped frieze embroidered on black cheesecloth and cream silk tulle. Complete with shamrock-embroidered buttons, false flap pockets and ruby satin lining. Buttoned bridge breeches, ease slit and stapled back placket, (small holes on breeches, some wear on vest and suit).
