Tulipwood, rosewood, satinwood and other woods, partly in veneers and inlaid in reserves with diamonds and rosettes as well as stylized flower tendrils. Rectangular body on a slightly cut-out frame with slanted, slightly protruding, curved legs with sabots. Front with two drawers, over an open compartment with mirrored back. Below, a central door in front of a mirrored interior (later), with a sliding door on each side. The central door has a gilt frame, decorated with a flower garland and a bow, around a bronze medallion with dark patina depicting an allegorical figure of love. Between the upper drawers is a rectangular plaque with dark patina, decorated with putti as an allegory of study. Gilt bronze mounts designed as rosettes, openwork meander scroll gallery, acanthus leaves, laurel garlands and bows. Brown/grey/white speckled marble top with a shaped edge. 3 keys. 119 × 41 × 125 cm. The marble top and the bottom of the open compartment are scratched. Rechteckiger Korpus auf wenig ausgeschnittener Zarge mit schräggestellten, leicht ausladenden, geschwungenen Beinen mit Tatzensabots. Front mit zwei Schubladen, über offenem rückwändig verspiegeltem Fach. Darunter zentrale Türe vor verspiegeltem Innenleben (später), flankiert von zwei Lamellen-Schiebetüren. Die zentrale Türe mit dunkel patiniertem Bronzemedaillon, Darstellung einer Liebesallegorie, in vergoldeter Rahmung mit Blumengirlande und Maschenaufsatz. Zwischen den oberen Schubladen eine rechteckige, dunkel patinierte Plakette mit Darstellung von Putten als Allegorie des Studiums. Vergoldete Bronzebeschläge in Form von Rosetten, durchbrochener Mäanderband-Galerie, Akanthusblättern, Lorbeergirlanden und Maschen. Braun/grau/weiss gesprenkeltes und randmoulüriertes Brekzie-Marmorblatt. 3 Schlüssel. 119 × 41 × 125 cm. Marmorblatt sowie Boden des offenen Faches verkratzt. Bronzen teils angelaufen, Patinierung stellenweise mit Fehlstellen.
