Original title Delicately characterised depiction of Saint Notburga of Rattenberg, a Tyrolean folk saint who is considered the patron saint of service marches and agriculture and is usually depicted with a sickle. A work typical of the style and motif of Huber-Sulzemoos, who studied at the academy in Munich and primarily depicted Christian themes. Oil on canvas, mounted on card. Signed lower right; verso inscribed with title, dat. 1924 and studio address in Munich. Approx. 40 cm x 35 cm. Frame. Oil on canvas, laid down on cardboard. Signed. Inscribed with title, date 1924 and artist's studio address in Munich on the reverse.
