Born in Kraiburg, Germany, he studied at the Munich Academy before immigrating to the United States in 1922. Settling in Newark, New Jersey, Weingaertner taught art and anatomy at the Newark School of Fine & Industrial Arts.  Keywords: New York painting, Manhattan art, Times Square, Broadway N.B.
