HARAPPAN TERRACOTTA GODDESS
Ca. 3000 - 2500 BC.
A terracotta figurine of a female goddess with an elongated body and highly stylised features. The face is modelled with a prominent nose, circular recessed eyes, and a series of incised lines forming a necklace across the chest. Long strands of hair extend evenly over both shoulders. The body is sculpted with rounded breasts, broad hips, and tapering legs aligned closely together.
