HEAVY ROMANO-EGYPTIAN GOLD SNAKE RING.
Ca. 100 BC - AD 100.
A gold serpent ring formed as a triple coil. The round-section body is finely chased with an overlapping scale pattern, the head modelled with drilled eyes and defined brow ridges, the muzzle slightly flattened.
