HELLENISTIC BRONZE PHALERA WITH NOBLEWOMAN
Ca. 100 BC.
A bronze phalera cast in high relief with the head of a noblewoman within a circular frame. The face is rendered frontally with deeply set eyes, parted lips, and thick curling hair radiating around the head.
