HELLENISTIC CORE-FORMED GLASS AMPHORISKOS Ca. 200 - 1 BC. A core-formed glass amphoriskos in glossy black with an elongated piriform body tapering to a pointed base and a short cylindrical neck topped by a wide, everted rim highlighted in yellow. Two small applied handles extend from the shoulders. The surface is decorated with combed white and yellow marvered threads forming a festoon pattern over the upper body, framed by horizontal bands encircling the neck and lower section.
