HELLENISTIC CORE-FORMED GLASS AMPHORISKOS.
Ca. 300 - 100 BC.
A core-formed glass amphoriskos with an elongated, tapering body ending in a small knob-like base. The surface is decorated with horizontal and wavy white-coloured trails. A cylindrical neck rises to a slightly flaring rim, with two applied handles arching from the rim to the shoulder. Mounted on a custom-made display stand.
