HELLENISTIC HIGH KARAT GOLD, CARNELIAN AND GLASS NECKLACE WITH CENTRAL PORTRAIT MEDALLION Ca. 400 - 300 BC. A restrung necklace of green and yellow beads interspersed with spherical gold spacers. At the centre is a circular gold medallion with a bust of a queen in high relief within a beaded border. Flanking the medallion are matching gold pendants: a pair of crescents inlaid with green glass, two heart-shaped settings with red glass inlays, and two sheet-gold leaves.
