HELLENISTIC HIGH KARAT GOLD PENDANT AND NECKLACE Ca. 400 - 300 BC. A gold circular pendant and necklace. The pendant has a central oval garnet, with four smaller round garnets (two missing) in a hexagonal configuration in the middle of floral filigree motifs. Four spirals are located at the top and the lower part of the medallion. The necklace is composed of gold and glass beads. This piece has undergone X-ray fluorescence analysis to confirm the metallurgical content, suggesting its ancient origin and lack of modern trace elements.
