HELLENISTIC HIGH KARAT GOLD PENDANT DEPICTING EROS HOLDING PATERA Ca. 300 - 200 BC. A gold pendant of nude Eros advancing with the right leg drawn back and the left extended, the torso framed by a swirling mantle gathered across both arms, the left hand holding a shallow patera. The head, turned slightly to the side, is detailed with facial features and hair arranged in thick, parted locks. A plain suspension loop rises from the crown of the head.
