HELLENISTIC JEWELLERY SET OF A PRINCESS Ca. 230 - 200 BC. A jewellery set comprising a gold diadem and a strand of beads. The diadem is formed of a sequence of pointed sheet-gold leaves attached along a red woven band, the leaves alternating in orientation. The strand consists of cylindrical and globular beads with a few longer tubular elements, spaced by small gold beads and centred by a small gold pendant. Framed. For similar see: E. M.
