Empire-style silver helmet jug. Square base supported by four stylised paw feet, merging into a trumpet-shaped ascending stand and helmet-shaped body with raised spout. Side ear handle, consisting of two struts ending in relief sculptural foliage and decorated with corresponding leaf tendrils. Jug and base rim surrounded by a fine lancet leaf frieze. Indistinctly marked; weight approx. 880 g. H. 30,4 cm. A probably Italian Empire style silver jug. Indistinctly marked. Probably Italy. 20th century.
