Hendrik Verschuring (1627-1690). Men, women and children with horses and dogs at the entrance to a town, a sculpture of
the abduction of a Sabine woman. Black stone, brush and grey wash, framing strokes in pen and brown ink. Watermark, cross and escutcheon. Signed and dated "H. Verschuring. Fr. 1660". 48.5 x 39.2 cm.
