H. 38 x 46 cm Note: After training as a typesetter and another shortened course at the Beaux-Arts in Lausanne because of his independent nature, he devoted himself to painting, in a resolutely figurative, contemplative and poetic vein. His landscapes, portraits and still lifes reveal a colourful, intimate world, steeped in everyday life, that betrays his love of life and humanity. This trajectory was suddenly interrupted at the age of 36 by the death of the painter.
