Hercules supporting the World Rare bronze figure of Hercules as a naked man standing in contrapposto carrying a world on his head his head, dressed in the skin of the Lion of Nemea covering his head and falling on his left on his left leg. He stands on a rectangular moulded base. Early 17th century. Height: 29 cm - Width: 6.7 cm Depth: 7 cm (Wear and tear, original casting defects) PROVENANCE - Nicolas de Hurtado Collection (1854 - 1920) - Probably stolen on 21 December 1937 and returned to the family on 23 December to the widow of the previous owner, née Amparo, Baroness Beyens (1859 - 1946) - It has remained in the family to this day.
