The Joyeux Turlurons made their official debut at the 2nd Festival of Giants in September 1991, and for the next few years they accompanied the giant Tintin at carnivals and in folklore processions. This philanthropic society was founded in Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve by Daniel Migeot, Robert Bertholet, Dany Bury and Dominique Maricq.
