NOTE Hermine Freiin Zwiedinek-Südenhorst was the wife of the Austrian Julius Freiherr von Zwiedinek-Südenhorst who was, from 1863 to 1866, the first drogman (interpreter in the service of Europeans responsible for relations with the Near and Middle East) at the Consulate General in Smyrna, Vice-Consul in Janina in 1866, then Consul in Janina in 1869.
