Delightful book of hours inspired by medieval manuscripts, text engraved in black, red and blue, with typographical ornaments, lettering, line ends, and coloured frames with gilded highlights, different on each page, depicting flowers of all kinds, acanthus leaves, vegetal decorations, angels, birds and other animals, faces in medallions, scenes of life, fantastic bestiary, etc. A superb copy in a fine binding signed by Gruel. Two missals are enclosed.
